Diabetes is a common condition, especially in those aged over 50 years.

It is known as the “silent assassin” – diagnosis is sometimes late as symptoms may be few. Most of the doctors at Woodview Family Doctors have postgraduate qualifications in diabetes.

We promote diabetes prevention, early diagnosis and comprehensive structured care.

We are actively involved in audit of our quality of care. We are vocal at local, regional and national level to lobby for both education and resources to enhance the care of patients with diabetes.
