Minor Surgery & Cryotherapy

We offer many minor surgical procedures, including removal of skin lesions and treatment of ingrown toenails.

Dr Kelly, who trained in surgery for 4 years, will perform removal of sebaceous cysts, moles, and other skin lesions under local anaesthetic.  Dr Quinlan performs removal of ingrown toenails.
We advise you to see your GP regarding the procedure you would like performed. If it is felt that minor surgery is suitable you will then be able book a minor operation appointment with Dr Quinlan or Dr Kelly.

We are registered with VHI, LAYA, AVIVA, ESB, Garda Medical Aid, and GLO health all of whom will cover the cost of the procedure. All of our doctors are highly skilled in suturing cuts and lacerations.

We are fully equipped to repair skin cuts and lacerations. We use both “stitching” and painless tissue glue, which is especially useful for children. All our instruments are single use disposable. We comply with the current HSE & ICGP infection prevention and control guidelines.

We also offer cryotherapy for treatment of verrucas, warts and other skin lesions. All of our doctors perform this service. Cryotherapy is also covered by health insurance in most cases.
